Data collected
BitOrBear.com collects only the data needed to run the service: newsletter email addresses, language preference, dated consent records, confirmation and unsubscribe tokens, contact messages, cookie choices, pseudonymous audience identifiers and technical logs.
Contact requests
Messages sent through the contact form are used only to answer the request. Do not send private financial information, exchange credentials or wallet secrets through the form.
Analytics and cookies
First-party audience records, Umami and configured Google Analytics are activated only after an explicit audience-measurement choice. No optional analytics tag is requested before that choice. You can refuse or withdraw consent without losing access to the site.
Advertising
Advertising is disabled by default. Prepared Google AdSense code can be activated only after a separate advertising choice, production configuration and integration of a Google-certified TCF consent platform. Refusing advertising does not restrict access.
Technical logs
Technical logs may be used to diagnose errors, protect the service, prevent abuse and maintain reliable newsletter delivery.
Retention
Cookie choices expire after six months. Current database defaults delete audience records after 25 months, email events after 13 months and contact messages after 24 months; newsletter delivery logs are anonymised after 25 months. Subscription records remain while active and as needed to prove consent or honour an unsubscribe request.
